Page 3 of 3 BG: It's amazing how far you've come on pure passion and hard work. If you weren't making music, what do you think you'd be doing right now? ANON: Working at the same blue collar job as we always have been and simply working towards dying. BG: Then let's be glad you've got Anon. Now, tell me if it's true. Do guys in bands really get all the babes? ANON: Not yet, where ya’ll at! Just kidding…yeah I guess so. When you’re in a band you’re all whores in one way or another, right? BG: [laugh] Great way to look at it. This summer I understand that you're embarking on your first cross country tour, with MTV filming parts of it. What are your thoughts on this? Nervous? Excited? What do you hope to accomplish? ANON: Our thoughts on it? Anxious as hell! We really can’t wait to do this; it’s been our life long dream. Allison Roberto, Mike Marco, and all the folks at MTV have really brought Anon to that next level. Nobody in this world has ever been willing to take a risk with Anon like they (Mike Marco, Allison Roberto, and MTV) have. We really owe everything to them. Every time that Anon plays in NY we have a PHENOMINAL turn out and we always wonder “How the hell did that happen”…the plain and simple fact is that without Allison, Mike Marco, and MTV’s support…it definitely wouldn’t have happened so soon! Mike Marco, Allison Roberto and the MTV crew recently shot a live video of Anon at The Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, NJ (One of our favorite venues) for E-Town Concrete’s final performance and let me say…it was sick! Anon has no doubt that Allison Roberto, Mike Marco, and the MTV crew will capture nothing but the TRUE feeling of our shows and road moments during our first tour. This tour has been labeled “The Inner Truth Tour” because that completely defines our feelings, at this time, on this outing. It’s time to see what we’ve got here and what we can do on a country wide scale. We’re just five guys playing music for fun and nothing else. We didn’t start this band with the intention of being the next big thing; we never wanted it all, but it has fallen in our laps so we intend to give you all the best show that we can…a show that we, as music fans, have always wanted to see. No overdubs, no lip synching or Irish Jigs [laugh], just live and raw music that we think should be heard. BG: Is there anything else you would like to add or promote? ANON: Record your CD at Purple Light Studios (http://www.purplelightstudios.com) in Brooklyn, NY because Mike Barille changed our lives, raised our skill level, and helped guide Anon in to everything that we are today (along with E-Town Concrete, 40 Below Summer, Agents of Man, Candiria, and many more) and he’ll change yours too! If you’re a singer on the east coast go see Melissa Cross (http://www.melissacross.com or http://www.myspace.com/thezenofscreaming) she’s the ONLY and the BEST vocal teacher for singing, screaming, breathing, and so much more. We owe everything to her! If you need merchandise for your band see http//www.bizziprinting.com for the best deals in the world! These guys have made our lives so much easier and they do the best quality printing around! Definitely check out Prophecy21 (http://www.prophecy21.com) because Adam Leota takes the sickest pictures in the world and has dedicated his life to photographing every live band that he can. If you want to play the Jersey Shore check out The Saint (http://www.thesaintnj.com), The Brighton Bar (http://www.cojackproductions.com), or The Starland Ballroom (http://www.starlandballroom.com). Support your internet porn because that’s what makes the world go round! Represent for http://www.norml.org because weed should be legalized! Most importantly….support YOUR local music scene! You would be surprised at what a difference YOU can make! Every fan counts and every person that fan tells is another ring on the ladder! One fan can pass the word to 30 friends. Each one of those 30 people can tell another 30 people and you can all make a difference!! Anon's Gallery
